Who Coaching is For

Are some of these statements true for you?

You're working long hours and have to turn business away or sacrifice another important part of your life. You're waking up earlier and earlier, working later and even working on weekends, but no matter how much you work, you can't seem to catch up.

You've got all these great ideas but no time to implement them. You don't know where they came from, but you've got more ideas than time. You know you should spend more time working on your business, but there's no way you can take the time to do so.

You've been doing the whole thing yourself - or practically - and you know you should delegate (more) to others but you don't have the time and don't know where to begin. Unfortunately, you're somewhat of a perfectionist. You can do so many of the business tasks yourself so you figure it's just better and easier if you do them than train someone else. You know you should delegate, but...

Vacation, what's that? You know, when you started this business you were excited because you could finally set your own hours. Now, you realize if you're not here you don't make money. You can't keep doing this forever and you've got to believe there's a different way.

Who has time for marketing, and who wants to anyway? Client work consumes most of your time and you don't have much of a plan to boot. You're sure you should do something but you're not sure you can handle more business anyway.

My clients include web designers, freelance and business writers, photographers, mortgage brokers, marketing consultants and other coaches. They often call me when they realize that they could take on more business, but not unless they add people to their team. The demand for their services - or their wish to change who they serve and what they offer - require refocusing and restructuring so they can grow to the next level without burning themselves out.

Clients are likely to be successful working with me if...

1. You have the wisdom to know that significant change takes time and have the ability to commit to working with us for at least 6 months. You have both feet planted firmly in your business and take a long-term view. Without this, I can't guarantee you'll reach your objectives.

2. You have been in business 1-5 years and have had confidence in your offer. You know that what you offer helps others and you have a track record of overall success with your clients.

3. You place a high value on integrity, communication and responsiveness. This is something you look for from your own clients and demand from yourself. When something doesn't work for you, you are comfortable communicating with others and do everything you can to restore good will.

4. You are a professional. You have knowledge of basic business terms and the ability to use today's technology to support you.

woman-thinking

quoteYou have made a real difference in my life this year and I want to thank you. Most recently, the combination of the Master Calendar 2.0 (so noted as it is the 2nd time I have understaken it) and my new mindset you helped me acquire regarding money have been real paradigm shifts. I am feeling more confident each day that I am on the right track. Thanks again.
