For over 28 years Green America mission has been to harness economic power to create a socially just and environmentally sustainable society. Lifework Business Partners has been a sustaining financial contributor for the past 7 years. Joan has been an active volunteer at their DC office since early 2009, and helped launch the pilot mentor program for the Green Business Network in 2010.

Joan is a veteran facilitator of the Get Clients Now! ™program. For 4 years she served as director of training and licensing. During that time she worked with creator C.J. Hayden to enhance the facilitator training tools and outreach programs.

Keep Working, Girlfriend! is a community for women (and interested men) to tell the truth and seek support as they navigate the territory of successful employment (or business ownership) in the face of ongoing health challenges.
