About Joan Friedlander
Joan has gained a reputation as a professional coach, with a personable approach. She is a master at working with business owners to
improve productivity, reduce the impact of distractions, and develop a strategic approach to business growth. She has been guiding creative entrepreneurs and independent professionals - primarily
professional writers, photographers and marketing consultants - since 2001 to become more organized and effective in their day-to-day efforts, encouraging them to see their talents as the gateway to enhanced productivity, and to improve their results through delegation.
My passion is to guide professional, skilled creative consultants to build a great business and live a great life.
~ Joan Friedlander
Joan taps into the various positions she's held in several industries before starting her company, which makes it easy to understand her clients' businesses. She's worked in retail management, for a national non-profit organization, for insurance benefit companies, in public health care and executive search firms. She's had responsibility for hiring, training, marketing and managing, and has been equally successful as a marketing and executive assistant.
Joan models her work with clients on her experience training and developing new store managers for Brentano's (then a sub-division of Waldenbooks). She works with her clients to develop essential communications skills with prospects and customers, to become more focused, and in taking their business to the next level without adding hours to their workday.
